UPDATE (July 8, 2020): Given a recent increase in infection rates throughout Seminole County, we made the difficult decision to again suspend all in-person worship and ministry gatherings until Sunday, July 26. Until then or beyond, please join us for worship on Sunday mornings via Facebook Live (10:00 am), our YouTube channel, this website, and our free ministry app (Google Play or App Store).

We now require masks or other facial coverings while on Willow Creek facilities and grounds.

If you would like to give to help maintain the ministry of Willow Creek during this time, text GIVEWILLOWCREEK to 77977 (standard data and messaging rates apply) or visit our

Children's Ministry Spotlight- Duane More

We have so many outstanding people who volunteer in our children's ministry. We feel it is important to highlight a few of them.

Unless you have young children and attend the 8:30am worship service, you may not recognize the name Duane More. If you do not know him, he is worth getting to know in a major way! Duane and his wife Barbara joined Willow Creek Church 2 years ago and has been a vibrant part of our children's ministry ever since.

Duane has been working with children for many years, having served as a children's elementary Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Oviedo for 5 years prior to coming to WCC. Even more impressive is Duane's dedication to children via baseball umpiring and coaching. Additonally, Duane has served on several mission trips while at First Baptist.

Duane began his time at WCC serving with the 4th-5th grade boys. However, last Summer during Vacation Bible School, Duane graciously served in the Kindergarten class and was clearly a kid favorite. Duane has an extremely soft heart, yet is firm in communicating the expectations for his class. Now, having been serving in our 3-5 year old ministry at 8:30, "Mr. Duane" is a mainstay to several of our youngest WCC congregants.

The truth and love of God's word is demonstrated to our children through Duane More and many others like him. We appreciate his service as he patiently cares for our precious children. Thank you Duane for your service to our church, to your family, and most importantly, to God.
