UPDATE (July 8, 2020): Given a recent increase in infection rates throughout Seminole County, we made the difficult decision to again suspend all in-person worship and ministry gatherings until Sunday, July 26. Until then or beyond, please join us for worship on Sunday mornings via Facebook Live (10:00 am), our YouTube channel, this website, and our free ministry app (Google Play or App Store).

We now require masks or other facial coverings while on Willow Creek facilities and grounds.

Children's Ministry Spotlight: Debbie and Hannah Cannata

We have so many outstanding people who volunteer in our children's ministry. We feel it is important to highlight a few of them.

Debbie & Hannah Cannata are a mother and daughter team that serve our adorable 1st grade Sunday School class, 9:45am at Willow Creek Church. The Cannata's have been attending WCC for many years. Debbie's husband John, and son Zachary, serve on the Walking Tall Security Team to help protect and care for our children and families.

Debbie has a heart for children. In addition to raising two of her own, she sees her role as being loving and ministering to her Sunday School class. Each week, Debbie prepares herself with the Gospel Story Curriculum our Children's Ministry uses, and is ready to engage her students with the truth of the Bible. Hannah, serves as a helper, willing to act out the Bible story, help with supplies, and sing and dance with her students.

In addition to Sunday School, Hannah also serves as an assistant leader on our Children's Worship team at the 11am service. Hannah has gotten to know the first grade students even better there! As a youth, it is very special that Hannah is able to learn God's word herself, and also be able to pour into the lives of other students who are a few years younger than her.

One impressive thing about the Cannata ladies is their willingness to engage parents. It is very important for our children's ministry to be a welcoming place, where parents can ask questions and engage with their children's teachers. Debbie does an excellent job of reaching out to the parents of her students and others, demonstrating a love of Christ with her compassion and willingness to listen.

Debbie and Hannah are loving, godly women who care deeply for our children here at Willow Creek Church. We are proud to have them on our Children's Ministry team. Thank you Debbie and Hannah Cannata for your faithful service to our church family!
