UPDATE (July 8, 2020): Given a recent increase in infection rates throughout Seminole County, we made the difficult decision to again suspend all in-person worship and ministry gatherings until Sunday, July 26. Until then or beyond, please join us for worship on Sunday mornings via Facebook Live (10:00 am), our YouTube channel, this website, and our free ministry app (Google Play or App Store).

We now require masks or other facial coverings while on Willow Creek facilities and grounds.

If you would like to give to help maintain the ministry of Willow Creek during this time, text GIVEWILLOWCREEK to 77977 (standard data and messaging rates apply) or visit our

Children's Ministry Spotlight: Gayle Rossmeissl

We have so many outstanding people who volunteer in our children's ministry. We feel it is important to highlight a few of them.

Gayle Rossmeissl is everywhere at Willow Creek Church! From serving as a greeter at the information desk, to sitting in the front row at the 8:30am service, to serving in children's ministry at 11am, it is rare that you will enter Willow Creek Church on a Sunday morning without interacting with Gayle.

Gayle is an absolute rock in the children's ministry, a place that she has served for close to 10 years. Back in the days when Caron Alwinson and then Kelly Hinkle led the children's ministry, Gayle served in a number of facets, but particularly loved young preschool aged children. Gayle, who describes herself as a "big kid," has a heart to provide comfort and support to the youngest members of our church family.

Over the past 2 years, Gayle has served as a vital part of our Children's Worship service at 11am each Sunday. Gayle facilitates discussion with as many as 16 Kindergarten children, always speaking to them in a sweet, gentle voice, encouraging them to share their prayer requests and questions they might have had about the message.

One of Gayle's biggest strengths is her ability to model leadership to our high school student volunteers. Having Taylore Travers, her 16 year old daughter, Gayle is very familiar with how to approach high school students and to point them to serving other people. Gayle is constantly drawing in junior high and high school students into our children's worship hour, encouraging them to serve and lead the elementary children who attend the service.

Gayle Rossmeissl is a woman 100% in love with Jesus. Personal loss, sickness, and difficult circumstances have marked Gayle's life, and for many people, these would be things that would bring about doubt. For Gayle, she knows her Lord Jesus Christ is her provider, and she makes it her mission to worship Him, and point our youngest children to that same Lord.

We are thankful to have people like Gayle who desire in some small way, to make an impact on the lives of children for God's glory. Thank you Gayle Rossmeissl, so much, for your faithful service to Willow Creek Church and for loving our Lord, our children, and our church family so well!
