UPDATE (July 8, 2020): Given a recent increase in infection rates throughout Seminole County, we made the difficult decision to again suspend all in-person worship and ministry gatherings until Sunday, July 26. Until then or beyond, please join us for worship on Sunday mornings via Facebook Live (10:00 am), our YouTube channel, this website, and our free ministry app (Google Play or App Store).

We now require masks or other facial coverings while on Willow Creek facilities and grounds.

If you would like to give to help maintain the ministry of Willow Creek during this time, text GIVEWILLOWCREEK to 77977 (standard data and messaging rates apply) or visit our

Children's Ministry Spotlight: Susan Comisky

We have so many outstanding people who volunteer in our children's ministry. We feel it is important to highlight a few of them.

Susan Comisky is not necessarily someone that would be instantly recongizeable in our children's ministry. She has only been serving for a few months, and volunteers during the 8:30am service, with the 3-5 year olds who wake up and attend early worship service. Despite her short amount of time serving, Susan has made a large impact with our youngest children!

The Comisky family have been a part of the Willow Creek Church family for approximately 5 years. Susan is wife to Ed Comisky, and mother to EJ, a freshman at Florida State University. I first got to know Susan through serving as EJ's small group leader while he was in SWITCH, our high school student ministry. Susan cared deeply, and continues to care for the spiritual growth of her son, and through conversations together, I saw a woman who has a desire for children to learn and know who God is.

At the 8:30am service, as many as 10 children between the ages of 3-5, gather to play, color, and learn about God and his word. Once a month, Susan leads the children through the Gospel Story Curriculum, which focuses on teaching the Bible as 1 great story, and how Jesus is main character and ultimate focus in EVERY story. Susan does an outstanding job of loving on our children, keeping them safe during the worship service, and teaching them about God at a level that they can understand.

We are thankful to have people like Susan, who desire in some small way, to make an impact on the lives of children for God's glory. Thank you Susan Comisky, so much, for your faithful service to Willow Creek Church and for loving our Lord, our children, and our church family so well!
