Children's Ministry Spotlight: Tina Sines

We have so many outstanding people who volunteer in our children's ministry. We feel it is important to highlight a few of them.

Tina Sines is heavily involved with the life of Wllow Creek Church, helping shape the lives of young children and families as the leader of MOPS, children's ministry Sunday School teacher, and Vacation Bible School registration leader. Tina and her husband Derrick have attended Willow Creek Church since 2010, when their daughter Kendall began attending Willow Creek Pre-School. Today, The Sines family has seen Kendall and their son Connor graduate Willow Creek Pre-School and become fully involved with the WCC children's ministry.

Tina took on the responsibility of teaching our 5th grade "Mission Minded Kids" Sunday School class during my first year as Children's Director at WCC. Mission Minded Kids (MMK), provides our oldest elementary students with opportunities to serve their community and "live out their faith." Having a heart for the community, Tina excelled at pointing our children to Christ's love by giving them opportunities to serve food to guests at Dinner at the Creek, make bracelets for children in the hospital, and donate food, diapers, and clothing to the Central Florida Homeless Coalition.

This year, Tina is using her experience at Willow Creek to return to the classroom by co-teaching at Rainbow Elementary School. Additionally, Tina is serving the church by teaching 1st grade Sunday School class in our children's ministry, while Kendall and Connor learn in the children's ministry in 3rd grade and Kindergarten respectively.

It has been a joy to see Tina Sines serve the children of Willow Creek Church. Through her care, creativity, and consistent modeling of Christ's love for her, Tina has impacted many children and women in a short time at Willow Creek. We are so blessed to have her, Derrick, and the entire Sines family as a part of our church family. Thank you so much for your faithful service to Willow Creek Church and for loving our Lord, your children, and our church family so well!
