Children's Ministry Volunteer Spotlight- Keely Corlew
We have so many outstanding people who volunteer in our children's ministry. We feel it is important to highlight a few of them.
Keely Corlew does not enjoy speaking about herself. In fact, she specifically tells me that she does not want recognition or attention, but simply wants to demonstrate God's love for her to the children of WCC. Keely has been at WCC for 3 and a half years, beginning when her daughter Grace entered the WCC pre-school led by Sandy Scholl. Grace has since graduated from pre-school (and is a Kindergartner in our children's ministry) while her brother Graham has since entered the school.
Keely serves the children's ministry in a variety of capacities, namely as the 3 year old Sunday School teacher twice a month. Keely is known for her extremely sweet spirit, a woman who is always smiling, and loves talking and connecting with our youngest children.
In addition to serving in Sunday School, Keely also substitutes at the WCC pre-school, and has been a huge help to Mrs. Sandy. Additionally, Keely has a creative touch and loves to provide sweet gifts for those who serve in our children's ministry as a sign that they are appreciated. In fact, a certain children's director was recently given a Thanksgiving bag of goodies. Yum!
Keely and her family are a testament to the love and grace we at WCC strive to share with our community. She is thankful for her relationship with the Lord, and desires to share his love and grace with the children in our care. Thank you Keely for loving your children and how you love our children at WCC.
