UPDATE (July 8, 2020): Given a recent increase in infection rates throughout Seminole County, we made the difficult decision to again suspend all in-person worship and ministry gatherings until Sunday, July 26. Until then or beyond, please join us for worship on Sunday mornings via Facebook Live (10:00 am), our YouTube channel, this website, and our free ministry app (Google Play or App Store).

We now require masks or other facial coverings while on Willow Creek facilities and grounds.

Children's Ministry Volunteer Spotlight- Mike Haas

We have so many outstanding people who volunteer in our children's ministry. We feel it is important to highlight a few of them.

Mike Haas has been one of the most consistent children's ministry leaders for serveral years at Willow Creek Church. For 3 years, Mike has been a "guru" with our 4-5 year old Pre-K class, a class that is currently our largest children's ministry class at WCC. This is in no small part thanks to Mike and his love for Jesus, care for our children, and great personality that brings the truth of God's Word to life.

Mike is husband to Gwen and they have two children in our children's ministry: Matthew 5th grade and Megan 1st grade. Gwen graciously helped serve at the children's ministry volunteer lunch this August and is consistently around WCC in women's ministry Bible studies and events. As a 5th grader, Matthew is one of our Mission Minded Kids (MMK's) and last month, he helped serve dinner and passed out greeting cards to guests of our church-wide outreach dinner "Dinner at the Creek."

In addition to serving in children's ministry, many of you have probably seen Mike serving as an usher on Sunday mornings. Mike additionally serves as a financial consultant for the church care team. He is also an invaluable resource to me, kindly giving me feedback and always making me smile as we talk college football, theology, and life.

Thank you Mike for your heart for God and your gracious heart to serve our children and families!
