Member Highlight: Steve & Stacey Waterston

Steve & Stacey Waterston are some of the most kind, thoughtful, encouraging people at Willow Creek Church. The Waterston's have attended Willow Creek Church for around a decade, seeing their 3 children, Samantha, Steven Jr., & Seth grow up within the care of the church. The Waterston kids are active in the student ministry, with Samantha serving the church on the technical team (slides), as well as our Side by Side ministry designed to minister to children in single-parent homes. All three children have completed the Communicants Class, having professed their faith in Jesus as their Lord

For Steve, in addition to managing a family and a full-time career as a project leader for an engineering firm, he serves with the technical team, serving as our lead sound man during Sunday morning worship. Steve also has helped individuals move, as well as caring for students in our student ministry.

Stacey is a very active participant in the children's school, serving as PTSA President at Tuskawilla Middle School. Within WCC, Stacey serves in the women's Bible study, has previously participated in MOPS, VBS, Side by Side, and our finance counting team. Stacey is regularly jumping in and reflects a desire to have people feel warmly welcomed into our church home.

I am so thankful for my friendship with this family, and it has been a joy to watch the children grow. The Waterston's are avid Orlando City Soccer fans, and Becky and I have enjoyed watching games with them. Please give a warm welcome and thank you to our precious WCC members, the Waterston Family!
