WCC Children's Ministry Spotlight: Todd & AJ Way

We have so many outstanding people who volunteer in our children's ministry. We feel it is important to highlight a few of them.

Todd Way and his son AJ have been around the children's ministry for several years. When the Way family joined Willow Creek Church close to 4 years ago, they made it extremely clear that they were willing to serve in different capacities of the church.

Todd and his wife Denise met through a college campus ministry in Nebraska. Over the years they have served in a variety of ministries, namely pouring into the lives of children and youth. Over time, they adopted 3 children (2 grown daughters) and their soon to be graduated son, AJ.

At Willow Creek, Todd serves in a variety of roles. He leads men's bible studies, participates in a small group with Denise, and has served as a Sunday School teacher for our Kindergarten/1st graders as well as participating as a leader in our new single-parent family ministry called "Side by Side."

AJ has consistently served with our pre-school children and the little one's love wrestling and playing with him. Together, the two of them have also attended 2 years of mission trips to Montgomery, Alabama, to serve in our church supported ministry, Common Ground Ministries.

Todd & AJ Way are the ideal children's ministry volunteers because they are unafraid of being silly, they demonstrate love and care for our children, and most importantly, they love Jesus. We are so thankful to have so many wonderful people here at Willow Creek Church, and it is exciting to get people connected in throughout the different avenues we have to serve. Thank you Way family, for getting connected with our children's ministry and our church. We love you!
