UPDATE (July 8, 2020): Given a recent increase in infection rates throughout Seminole County, we made the difficult decision to again suspend all in-person worship and ministry gatherings until Sunday, July 26. Until then or beyond, please join us for worship on Sunday mornings via Facebook Live (10:00 am), our YouTube channel, this website, and our free ministry app (Google Play or App Store).

We now require masks or other facial coverings while on Willow Creek facilities and grounds.

WCC Children's Ministry Spotlight: Jeff & Amy Kauffman

We have so many outstanding people who volunteer in our children's ministry. We feel it is important to highlight a few of them.

Jeff & Amy Kauffman moved to Orlando, Florida from Pennsylvania several years ago and immediately began looking for a church to call home. Having moved away from friends and family, the Kauffmans were able to find Willow Creek Church who has since, according to Amy, become their "Florida family." We are so glad to have them and are honored to see they and their 3 children (Matthew, Jacob, Rachel) participate in our children's ministry.

Amy has participated in WCC's Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) ministry for 3 years, with the past 2 years serving as co-leader of the ministry. Additionally, Amy participates in women's Bible study, serves in the nursery, and over the Summer, committed herself and her husband Jeff to serve once a month in our children's ministry 4-5 year old class. She has also served as a volunteer for Vacation Bible School, where her energy comes in very handy when serving our youngest children.

Jeff is a professor at UCF, and while extremely busy with academia, also manages to find time serving as a MOPS volunteer so his wife and other area mom's can enjoy time together on the 2nd Friday of each month. Jeff also is very loving and gentle with his own children, as well as the children who join us each week during Sunday morning worship.

The Kauffman's have become close friends of mine, and I am amazed at how they love the Lord, one another, their children, and this church so well. They constantly seek to serve others, and are very generous with their time, talent, and treasure. We are very thankful to have the Kauffmans in our ministry, and look forward to seeing Matthew, Jacob, and Rachel grow in their knowledge, understanding, and love for their Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you Kauffman family for your part in our church!
