Julissa Juarbe was born and raised in New York City. She graduated from Fordham University with a Management Accounting degree. She worked in the bustling city as a Staff Accountant for many years. She is happily married to her husband Michael. After the birth of her first child, Caleb, she decided homeschooling was the best option for her family. In 2014, after her daughter Eliana was born, they moved to Florida. Shortly after, they started attending Willow Creek Church. Julissa serves in the children ministry, her son serves in the sound/tech ministry, and her spouse currently serves as an instrumentalist in the worship team and leads a WCC small group. Julissa is excited to use her gifts to serve the church. In her free time, Julissa enjoys singing and listening to music, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
