(Marko) Ville Jukarainen serves as our Intern.
Ville is a graduate of the Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences and got his degree in Business Information Technology. He is currently a theology student at the Reformed Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity). He was born and raised in Finland, moved to the United States in 2013, and is now a US citizen.
From 2010 to 2011, he came to the United States as an exchange student at the University of West Florida. This is when he met his wife, Rachael. After he went back to Finland, they dated for almost 3 years from across the world.
Ville came back to the United States in 2013 to marry Rachael, and they moved to Gainesville, Florida. Ville has worked the last decade as a software developer, while also serving as active members at their local church.
Ville grew up culturally Lutheran and joined a Pentecostal church after finding faith in Christ during college. He is relatively new to Reformed Theology which he got acquainted with through a systematic theology course by R. C. Sproul. Through hearing God’s call to full-time missions, both he and his wife realized they have much to learn in order to be equipped for ministry.
After joining Pioneers Missions Agency in 2019, Ville and Rachael moved to Orlando to study at RTS Orlando where they are getting properly equipped for foreign missions with interest in church planting and sharing the good news of the Gospel with those who are hurting.
Ville enjoys good food, nature, photography, sports and board games.
