2026 VBS Volunteer Guidelines
In order to ensure the safety and adhearance to the policies and procedures of the Children's Ministry of Willow Creek Church, the following requirements must be met in order to be considered to volunteer during our VBS week:
Youth Volunteers (under the age of 18 years old):
Please read carefully as there have been changes to the policies this year. Youth Volunteers are submitting an application for serving. You will be notified if approved by our VBS leadership.
1. Member or regular attender (6 months +) at Willow Creek Church OR known personally by a member of Willow Creek Church.
2. Must attend mandatory volunteer meeting June 14th, 11:30am-1:00pm. NO EXCEPTIONS
3. Entering 6th grade and up for the 2026-27 school year
4. Must agree to and abide by a code of conduct that will be provided during registration
Adult Volunteers (18 years and older):
1. Member or regular attender (6 months +) at Willow Creek Church
2. Must submit to and pass a background check
3. Must attend mandatory volunteer meeting June 15th, 11:30am-1:00pm.

VBS @ Willow Creek is for children ages 4 through rising 5th graders.
Must be 4 years old by the first day of VBS, June 15th.
All children MUST be potty trained. No exceptions.
All Volunteers, youth and adults, are vetted, trained and, if 18+ years old, they are background checked. We aim to provide a safe, loving and secure experience for all involved in VBS.
