Ellen Geer serves as Director of Willow Creek Preschool.
Ellen Geer was born and raised in the fine state of New Jersey. She attended Virginia Tech with a major in Family and Child Development. After graduation, she married and settled in Central Florida. She is a charter member of Willow Creek Church. Her 2 children, Tyler and Jamie, grew up in the church and were blessed greatly by Willow Creek’s youth group. Willow Creek Church was instrumental in helping Ellen and her children through a difficult divorce. Her love for her God and for her church family grew through that challenging time.
Ellen began teaching preschool in 1992 at Aloma Methodist Preschool. She taught at Willow Creek Pre School for 9 years before teaching Kindergarten full time at The Geneva School for 13 years. She is thrilled to be “coming home” to Willow Creek’s Preschool as director!
Ellen loves walking her dog Jersey, quilting, and dinner out with friends. But better than all that is being with family – her mom, 2 married children and 5 precious grandchildren!
