Cheryl came to Florida from Michigan as a young girl living first in the Miami area (Fins up!), then moving to Naples and eventually settling in Orlando.  A graduate of UCF with a degree in finance, she is presently working part time as the church bookkeeper.  Cheryl and her husband, Tony, have two grown children and three grandchildren, with a fourth one on the way. 

Baptized back in the storefront, Cheryl found her savior and church family at Willow Creek.  Over the past 32 years she has enjoyed working and volunteering in various ministry areas which included the nursery, children and youth, adult ministries, WCHE, Awana and the Care Team.  It has been so rewarding to work with such a group of sincere and compassionate individuals that comprise the Care Team whose focus is on helping those in need here at Willow Creek as well as in the surrounding community.  God has shown His grace and mercy in so many circumstances that it has been such a source of growth and strength for Cheryl.  Humbled by the generosity she has witnessed in the many years she has served on the Care Team, Cheryl is thankful that she is able to serve in some small way, helping those, like herself, who are in need of such a loving and awesome God.
