Member Highlight: Andy & Nancy Pearson
Andy & Nancy Pearson are the epitome of servant leaders. Willow Creek Church has been unbelievably blessed by their years of faithful service in a variety of capacities, and if you were to ask them, they would tell you that all glory goes to God.
The Pearson's have been attending WCC for many years! Andy is the son of beloved members, Bill & Marcia Pearson. His sister Heidi Bolt and her family also attend WCC along with visits from various other siblings, cousins, nephews, nieces, and more! Andy & Nancy have raised 3 wonderful daughters, Amber Bryant (husband Caleb), Carole, & Bonnie.
Over the course of time, Andy has served on local, national, and international mission trips, led a small group, Bible studies, served as a church Deacon, and was commander of the Awana ministry for many years. He's still known by many children and teenagers as "Commander Andy," and is an absolute skilled and knowledgeable workman both physically and spiritually.
Nancy has a similar passion for children, having served in Awana, VBS, and children's ministry, along with the recent addition of the "Mommy & Me" ministry in which she works with mom's of infants and preschoolers through teaching them Bible stories to share with their children. Nancy also is a special needs advocate, and recently taught a Bible study as well as a seminar on several "best practices" of how to teach and care for children with special needs. Nancy is spiritually fed in Women's Bible Study, which she's faithfully attended for many years.
Nancy and their daughter Bonnie also have a passion for worship ministry! Nancy plays guitar and piano in Sunday worship as well as our Seniors SALT ministry.
We could go on and on, but the point is... these are godly, imperfect people. They love Jesus. They love our church. We are so thankful for them!
